Growth Groups
Take The Next Step
We want to help you connect with God and others. Some Growth Groups are all about learning. Some are all about serving. But you have to purposefully decide to volunteer and participate. Both can be rewarding and satisfying. You will make friends, build relationships and find support and encouragement for your life. For more information about any group listed here, please use our info form.
Most of our Growth Groups have established a virtual meeting format. Want to be a group leader? Email Terri Kraft at tkraft@firstunited.org

MEMBERSHIP AT FIRST UNITED
Membership at First United supports and nurtures your commitment to follow Christ, but joining is not required to participate in the life of the church; you are welcome here wherever you are in your faith journey.
The only requirement to become a member of First United is baptism. We have numerous opportunities for baptism and joining our membership scheduled throughout the year. Sign up for our weekly email to be informed of our next scheduled event, or contact Terri Kraft at tkraft@firstunited.org.
To request a baptism date or participate in an advertised Baptism please use the form found at our website: BAPTISM REGISTRATION FORM
To become a member of the church, we ask that you contact Terri Kraft, our Next Steps Leader. You can email her at tkraft@firstunited.org
At First United we feel there are five key disciplines of faith which we want members to pursue. We don’t expect anyone to be fully engaged in all of them all the time. But it’s our goal that members commit to at least one, and always be working to take “a new and next step” in their faith journey. As you can see on this website, our key disciplines are:
Attend consistently
Grow relationally
Serve passionately
Give generously
Share faith fearlessly
With this in mind, before becoming a member we will ask you to complete a spiritual gifts inventory and commit to at least one of our five key spiritual disciplines.
We can’t wait to welcome you to our First United Family.
