Following the direction from our national and local officials, as well as the United Methodist Church, we are suspending all church events and activities through April 13, 2020. We are offering online worship at 9 am through livestream.
If you can’t join us live online at 9 am Sunday, visit our sermon archive on our website or our YouTube channel to watch our sermons at any time.
Online Bible Study
There are two opportunities to join a small group with Pastor Scott this week. We will be studying the last week of Jesus’ life and what happened on Thursday. We will look at Mark 14:43-72.
During this challenging time we ask that you continue to put God first in your finances. We encourage you to give online either by completing the form at this link:
You can also text to give. Simply text the amount you would like to give to 386-643-0155 and complete a short form. Future gifts are as easy as texting the amount.
You can also mail your envelope or check to:

We understand and emphasize the importance of prayer, especially in times of stress, panic, or illness. We would love for our caring ministries to uplift your cares and concerns at this time.

Egg Hunt To-Go
Sunday, April 5, 11 am - 1 pm
First United’s first egg hunt in a bag. Bag includes filled eggs, an Easter book and prizes. Swing by the church Sunday, April 5 from 11:00am -1:00pm and grab an Egg Hunt To-Go bag under First United’s portico. Schmancy Pops will be social distance selling so grab a pop when you stop by. First United’s Children’s Ministries wants to keep the children and families discovering hope and deepening their faith during this time of COVID-19. We know the children are at home for at least next two weeks - you will receive a family devotion by emailed Monday-Friday. It will have a little devotion and craft or coloring page to go along with it.
We will go live on ZOOM Thursday at 7 pm and and Sundays at 5 pm for a Group Family Devotion and some face to face time via the computer.
“Children’s Ministry To-do Packets” are on the playground - stop by and pick one up! It makes for a great outing to get out of the house! There will be a plastic bin inside the playground gate with the Ziploc packets in them. Once they are gone they are gone. Each packet will have 5 worship worksheets and crafts.. There will be extra coloring sheets, and items for the crafts each day.
We hope you and your family continue to rely and grow in your faith during this time. Please keep your family safe and remember to demonstrate love to all.
Rooted Student Ministries
Students and parents - as we all know life is looking a little different that maybe expected right now. No worries, we are ready to walk with you on this journey and grow together in our faith and influence. Our spaces are going to look a little different and students will most likely have more time on their hands to do, well, whatever they are able to stay busy and not bored.
The following includes some ways we hope to stay connected while practicing social distancing: (Please note that we seriously encourage interaction and engagement with all platforms for the best possible experience and opportunity for growth.) @rooted386 is how you will find us on all social media platforms.
