Williamson Property Sale Amendment

 

We have signed a contract amendment to sell additional acreage of the Williamson Boulevard property.
In June of 2019, First United approved the contract to sell 20-22 acres, but in the past year, there has been discussion with Volusia County about selling property for a retention area associated with the Williamson Blvd road widening project. To accommodate our buyer, Volusia County and future plans for First United (keep 25 buildable acres for future use), the Guide Team has approved, by way of an amendment to the contract, to sell an additional +/- 12 acres.
The purchase price for the additional acreage is consistent with the contract at $217,000 per buildable acre. Proceeds of the sale will be used to pay off the debt, upgrade the Halifax campus, and set money aside for western expansion.

  • March 8 at 12:30 pm in the Sanctuary - Informational gathering on the amendment. You can watch the info session here:

  • March 12 at 7:15 pm in the Multi-Purpose Room - Q & A, last call for additional information. This session will allow anyone who has unanswered questions or would like to speak with team members about the amendment. 
  • March 22 at 2 pm will be the Church Conference and membership vote to approve the amendment to the contract.
