We Have A Place For You!
United Methodists have believed, from the beginning, that each of us is called to participate in the outreaching ministry of Jesus Christ. John Wesley described this work in simple, practical terms: "Do all the good you can, in all the places you can, to all the people you can." Putting our faith into action is at the very heart of our Christian calling. Every person in the church has the opportunity to serve and to live their calling more faithfully.
Volunteers embody Christian love in action by bringing their diverse talents to mission programs, local outreach ministries, emergency response and recovery work around the world.
Do you enjoy office work? Help weekdays in the church office answering the phone, data entry, and light clerical projects. For more information, contact Jill Murphy.
This service group helps with light maintenance projects on the church campus. For more information, contact Brett Robinson.
We also support Osceola Elementary School in conjunction with Food Brings Hope to supply identified student families in need with groceries. The bags are either delivered or picked up at the school. This is an ongoing project that runs throughout the school year. Email Terri Lynch at for more information on how to join this effort.
Random Acts of Kindness can help if you or someone you know has a need, they are willing to help. It can be for light yard work, minor home repair, visitations, a meal or some other act of kindness.
More Ways to Serve:
Greeters: Welcome people with a smile and make them feel at home as they step through our doors.
Name Taggers: Knowing our guests' names makes the worship service a personal experience. Name taggers help our Greeters welcome every guest, and transform the worship service into a “space” to meet God personally.
Ushers: Play a key role in orchestrating a smooth weekend experience by assisting guests to their seats.
Guest Services: Help guests navigate a new environment and find answers. Guest Services is the place to find information about all of our current events, ministry opportunities, and services.
Coffee Team: Create a fellowship space after the service to individually welcome our guests.
Cookie Brigade: This team of bakers provides a homemade gift for our first-time guests.
Hospitality: This team organizes and serves food and refreshments at special events throughout the year.
