What If . . . - There was a church where every person understood the specific, individual spiritual gifts God had given them?
- Everybody honored everyone else on the basis of the gifts they had?
- Each person went about his or her ministry, not with pride or a sense of personal ownership, but with the deepest desire to follow Jesus with a servant-like attitude.
That's the kind of church we want to be. We believe the church is the hope of the world, and that God has designed it in a way to meet that challenge. And it's not one, or a handful of "professional" Christians doing it; it's every person transformed by the life of Jesus using his or her gift with their unique style and passion, to offer servant ministry to our hurting community and world. WHAT IS NETWORK?
Network is a three-step process to help believers find meaningful places of service to God where they can be fruitful and fulfilled. The three steps are: Discovery, Consultation, Service. Step 1: Discovery What is my God-given design? Whether you have been serving in a ministry for a long time, or are a new believer, this simple approach and proven tools will guide you toward a greater fulfillment of God's will in and for your life. Beginning with biblical foundation, practical insights are developed through a variety of presentations. Network Discovery Sessions have been carefully designed to help you better understand who it is that God has made you to be. It is an opportunity to discover the purpose of the church and your unique role within it. You will discover your Unique Servant Profile. - Your Passion: Where are you motivated to serve?
- Your Spiritual Gifts: What are you equipped to do?
- Your Personal Style: How can you best serve?
Step 2: Consultation How do I fit in? After you have identified your passion, spiritual gifts, and personal style (all three together make up your Servant Profile), you will have an opportunity to share your discovery with a volunteer consultant. The consultant will assist you in connecting your Servant Profile and time availability with appropriate ministry in our church and community. You may find you are right where God wants you to be! Step 3: Service How do I make my unique contribution? - Using my God-given gifts.
- Ministering in a meaningful place of service.
- Serving one another through love.
- Glorifying God while being joyful and fulfilled.
