Congregational Care Ministries focus is to provide for the needs of families and individuals in different stages and circumstances of life through care, prayer, support and encouragement. The ministry responds to the spiritual, emotional, physical and relational needs by engaging the congregation in service and community to one another.

GriefShare, is a nondenominational group and features biblical teaching on grief and recovery topics. The format is a seminar and support group for people grieving the death of someone close to them and meets at the First United Methodist Church of Ormond Beach, 336 South Halifax Drive, Ormond Beach from 6 - 8pm Mondays, beginning April 16. There is no charge to attend, but participants are asked for a $15 donation to cover the cost of the workbook used during the 13 weeks. Each session includes a video seminar and discussion group.
