Caregiver's Day Out Could you use a day out with some caring friends? - Are you a caregiver? Are you caring for a senior spouse, friend, or another family member?
- Are you under pressure that is affecting your health, attitude, peace of mind, or relationships?
- Would training from those experienced in caring for older adults be helpful?
- Would it help to be with other caregivers to share ideas and problems?
Maybe you need a caregiver's day out! Caregiver's Day Out is a program for people who care for older adults. It is 4-6 hours at a place near you that allows: Receivers to: - Come to a comfortable, safe place. - Take part in a light meal and other activities. Givers to: - Meet other caring people who can help you and other caregivers share questions and concerns. - Get specific help from medical, nutrition, and social experts who will enable you to care even better. - Have three hours for yourself to relax and enjoy whatever you want to do . . . shop, beach, movie, etc. - Best of all . . . it's all FREE! Read what others have said . . . "I didn't know what to expect, but they put me completely at ease. I discovered friends I could trust and they absolutely cared about me.""I wish the whole world was made up of people like those I found at Caregiver's Day Out. They certainly are people with God's own heart!"
