First Time? We're excited to have you as our guest! It can be a little intimidating to walk into a new place, so here are a few tips to make it a little more comfortable for you to take the next step and join us for a worship service.
Where do I go? Worship services are at 336 South Halifax Drive, Ormond Beach. We suggest getting here about 15 minutes before the service starts to find a spot to park, find a seat, and relax. Both Sunday services are in the Sanctuary (the large building on the north side of the campus.) Our Thursday night Early Weekend Worship service is in the ministry building (on the south side of campus,) in the Multi-Purpose room.
What Time? We have Early Weekend Worship on Thursday evenings at 6:30 pm in the Multipurpose Room. On Sunday mornings, we have our Contemporary service at 9:00 am and our Traditional service at 11:00 am.
What to wear? Pastor Scott would say “Come as you are!” We want you to feel comfortable when you join us for a worship service. People wear anything from jeans and t-shirts to business casual- a few folks even wear more formal attire. Whatever works for you!
What should I expect? The music changes at each service. Sunday 9:00 am is contemporary Christian music. The 11:00 am is traditional hymns led by a choir. The message is the same at both services. Both services last about an hour. If you need help hearing the sermon, there are wireless headsets available to borrow at the Guest Services counter.
What about my children? While your children are more than welcome to join us in worship, we have a great nursery for infants through 4 years old. For the 9 am service we have our Wave Children’s Pre-K through 4th grade and Impact for 5th and 6th graders. There are great leaders and programs, but your children are welcome to join in the worship service as well.
Anything else? When the service is over on Sundays Pastor Scott would love to meet you in the lobby at the Guest Service desk. Don’t forget to stop by and say hello!
