First Time? We are excited to have you as our guest!
It can be a little intimidating to walk into a new place so here are a few tips to make it a little more comfortable for you to take the next step and join us for a worship service.
Where do I go? All of our worship services are at 336 S. Halifax Dr. Ormond Beach. We suggest getting here about 15 minutes before the service starts to find a spot to park, find a seat, and relax. If you come on Sunday both services are in the Sanctuary (the large building on the north side of the campus). On Thursday night we meet in the Crossroads Activity Center which is in the middle building.
What Time? Thursday night 6:30 pm, Sunday 9:00 am and 11:00 am.
What to wear? Pastor Scott would say “Come as you are!” We want you to feel comfortable when you join us for a worship service. People wear anything from jeans and t-shirts to business casual. A few folks even wear more formal attire. It is whatever works for you.
What should I expect? The music changes at each. Thursday night is more of an acoustic set, Sunday 9:00 am is contemporary Christian music. The 11:00 am is traditional hymns led by a choir. The message is the same at all three services with the only difference on Thursday night when we have a time of questions and discussion following the message. Most services last about an hour.
What about my children? We have a great nursery for infants through 4 years old. For Thursday night and the 9 am we have our Wave Children’s Pre-K through 4th grade and Impact for 5th and 6th graders. There are great leaders and programs but your children are also welcome to join in the worship service as well.
Anything else? When the service is over on Sundays Pastor Scott would love to meet you in the lobby at the Guest Service desk. On Thursdays, Pastor Scott will be in the back waiting to meet you. Don’t forget to stop by and say hello.
